Matt is a producer, audio engineer, and composer working many roles in the world of making records and post production sound for media. Matt is a Cannes Film Awards nominated dubbing mixer, has over 1 million streams as a producer and audio engineer, Best Picture winning composer, and has credits with Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, Subaru, and many more.

“I’ve always been haunted by the phrase ‘jack of all trades, master of none’ but my curiosity and a deep love for sound pushed me to defy it—exploring widely while committing deeply to every role I take on. I got my start by playing 100s of gigs a year in bands notably with Grammy winning blues musician Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson for half a decade before his unfortunate passing. Following this I pivoted by rolling up my sleeves and building a high end hybrid studio where I work out of everyday recording, mixing, mastering, composing, and more. Today, I make records with artists and bands, often functioning as a one-stop shop — taking projects from demo through to a final master. I bring that same end-to-end approach to composing for media and working in post-production sound.

Matt is a professor at Berklee College of Music where he teaches both in the Contemporary Writing and Production and Screen Scoring departments. With his many skills he is suited as a Swiss Army knife for your art. Whether it’s fully realizing your next recording or telling the next great story through media, Matt is the leader and creative for you.
